This through-the-wall wine air conditioning unit with heater is ideal for smaller residential wine cellars. Our product advisor tool can help you decide if a TTW018H is fitting for your wine storage application. The TTW018H is easy to install and can be installed on your own without the support of a contractor. The max capacity of the TTW018H unit is 1,755 BTU/h (0.51 Kilowatts).
The Wine Guardian heater option acts to warm the air entering the wine cellar in order to maintain a constant set point.
The electric heat option includes the following:
-500-watt integral heater
-Thermal overload protection device and controls
The Wine Guardian through-the-wall unit with heater will either cool or heat the air, but it is not designed to do both at the same time. The Wine Guardian electric heat option must be specified at time of order and is installed at our factory prior to shipment.
If your wine cellar features one or more glass walls and you are close to the maximum recommended BTU/h, consider purchasing the D025 with heater. Always run complete heat load calculations before purchasing a wine cellar air conditioning unit.

The BTU/h value shown here is a theoretical number. There are often circumstances under which a cellar design may require a larger unit due to variables not accounted for in the formula. For example, these variables could be building materials (such as glass, stone, concrete, etc.) which do not offer the insulation capacity required to maintain the optimal cellar environment. We recommend purchasing a unit with a larger capacity to compensate for these unaccounted-for variables. An undersized unit can lead to premature failure and will most likely prevent the cellar from reaching your desired temperature.
