CellarPro engineered the AH3500Sx-ECX ducted cooling system to provide maximum cooling power and adjustable humidity control for cellars up to 900 cubic feet with the condensing unit located in an exterior environment. The evaporator and the condensing unit each can be ducted up to 100 equivalent feet (50 equivalent feet per duct.) As a split system, the evaporator can be separated from the condensing unit up to 100 feet, allowing the noise and heat from the condensing unit to be located away from interior living areas. The AH3500Sx-ECX includes independent energy-efficient variable-speed EC fans with a low setting for quieter operation and a high setting for maximum power.
The BTU/h value shown here is a theoretical number. There are often circumstances under which a cellar design may require a larger unit due to variables not accounted for in the formula. For example, these variables could be building materials (such as glass, stone, concrete, etc.) which do not offer the insulation capacity required to maintain the optimal cellar environment. We recommend purchasing a unit with a larger capacity to compensate for these unaccounted-for variables. An undersized unit can lead to premature failure and will most likely prevent the cellar from reaching your desired temperature.
